Put a listing in the context of its location

The map connects a price with a place. Use it to understand an area, then confirm the specific location details you need with the advertiser.

Reviewed:

Move between the map and the full listing

Start with an area you recognise, then open property markers to see which homes they refer to. Use the full listing for size, delivery and payment details. The map is a way into those details; the marker amount alone cannot explain differences in condition or property type.

If you entered the map from a particular listing, use the surrounding streets and nearby places to understand its context. Compare that with the stated area and compound. A mismatch is something to clarify, not a detail to ignore because the price looks appealing.

Understand what a pin can tell you

Property locations may use approximate coordinates supplied with the listing. A pin is therefore useful for orientation but should not be treated as a confirmed entrance or exact unit address. Ask the advertiser for the meeting point before a viewing.

A home without coordinates cannot appear as a located result on the map. If you saw a property in the list but cannot find its marker, read the location text and ask for clarification. Do not infer that the home is unavailable just because the map cannot place it.

Test the places that matter to you

List the destinations you use often and the way you normally travel. Check the relevant route at the time you would actually make the trip. A straight-line distance is not the same as a journey through an entrance, bridge or busy road. The app does not promise a commuting time.

  • Which entrance or access road serves this property?
  • Is the stated parking private, shared or nearby?
  • Which services are already operating, and which are planned?
  • Can the advertiser provide a clear meeting point for the viewing?

Use location permission on your terms

Device location supports nearby discovery and distance-based sorting. You can browse using named areas without sharing your device location. If permission was declined, select an area manually; if you want nearby functions later, review the permission in your device settings.

The existing privacy policy explains location use while the app is in use and how to revoke permission. Sharing location with the app does not replace the need to confirm where you are meeting an advertiser.

Ask location questions that match the home

For an established city apartment, building access, the surrounding street and nearby daily services may be the useful details. For a coastal home, ask about project access, facilities and the services available at the time you plan to visit. For a developing area, distinguish facilities that are operating from those described as future plans. These questions are more informative than a district name on its own.

A check before the next step

Record whether the entrance is confirmed or approximate. A useful location note says “east entrance confirmed by advertiser; route not yet tried” rather than “ten minutes away” without a source. Revisit essential journeys before making the location your reason for choosing a home.

Questions about this guide

Is the map a live availability guarantee?
