Use guest browsing for the first look
You can browse and search without creating an account. Sign in when you want to message an advertiser, request a viewing, publish a property or manage account-based saved searches. The app offers email and password, Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google.
Use the same sign-in method when returning to an existing account. If email sign-in is the method you use and you cannot remember the password, use the password-reset flow. Never send a password or verification code to support or another user.
Review the details you choose to publish
The profile can include information such as a name, photo, phone number and company. Add details that are relevant to your use of the marketplace, and review the public-facing profile before advertising. Public profile information and private messages have different audiences.
The privacy policy describes account, listing and message data, saved items and permissions. It also explains that sellers receive aggregate listing activity rather than the identities of people who viewed or saved a home.
Check app preferences and phone permission
Notification preferences in the app allow you to choose the kinds of updates you want. Your phone separately decides whether the app may display notifications. Saved searches also have their own alert switch and frequency, so review that search if only its updates are missing.
If a notification does not arrive, open the app to check the current conversation or viewing status. Confirm your connection and the relevant permissions before assuming a request or message was lost. A notification is a reminder to look at the current information, not the only copy of it.
Keep permissions tied to the task
Location permission supports nearby discovery while the app is in use. Searching by named area is available without it. Photo-library permission is relevant when adding photos to an advert. If a permission was declined, review it in the phone’s settings when you decide to use that feature.
When asking support about a permission problem, state which action you tried and what appeared. A cropped screenshot of the permission or error can be useful; remove messages, contact details and other private content that the issue does not require.
Understand deletion and subscriptions separately
The existing account-deletion route is Profile → Privacy policy → Your data → Delete my account. Read the confirmation carefully because deletion removes account content such as the profile, listings, saved items and messages. If you only want fewer alerts, change notification settings instead.
An optional store subscription is managed separately in the store account. Deleting a Sakenly account is not the same as cancelling that subscription. The privacy policy and support page explain the current account options; support can help with an app issue without needing your password.
A check before the next step
For an account issue, record your sign-in method, the exact action and the visible result. For alerts, check the relevant search or notification preference and the phone permission separately. Do not send a password, verification code or complete private conversation to explain a small settings problem.
